Tripadvisor is one of the best known metasearcher. It collects feedback from guests and offers a price comparison service. It also allows you to show a booking engine partner.

WuBook is a TripAdvisor Certified Premium Partner, through Fount technology allows you to offer access to your online reception directly from the TripAdvisor portal.

On WooDoo side you don't need to do anything, the activation must be done directly on TripAdvisor through the TripConnect program configuration (WuBook must be specified as IBE Provider). It provides 2 possible commercial formulas:

  • TripConnect CPC (cost per click)
  • TripConnect Instant Booking

TripAdvisor will automatically send to WooDoo the list of properties that join the campaign. The same will happen in case of deactivation on TripAdvisor side: WooDoo will automatically detect the disabling of the service. So also the deactivation must be done on TripAdvisor.

The cost on WooDoo side is 1€ per reservation coming from the Online Reception opened by TripAdvisor. This cost will end up in the calculation of your "Current Balance" in the WooDoo control panel and it must be added to the cost on the TripAdvisor side.

TripConnect CPC

It is the simplest promotional model. Every time a TripAdvisor user clicks on your offer, he/she is automatically redirected to your WooDoo direct booking page, generating a cost, the "Cost Per Click", which sets TripAdvisor.

Tripconnect Instant Booking (only for USA and UK)

Instant Booking allows TripAdvisor web surfers (only those who connect from USA or UK) to make reservations in a property without having to leave the site; the user pays directly on TripAdvisor but it is as if the reservation was made by the online reception of WuBooK.

If the prices you provide are not competitive enough compared to other distribution channels that your property uses, your rates may not be displayed in the "Book on TripAdvisor" search results.

WooDoo allows connection only for those who offer rooms, for those who offer apartments there is no connection to the specific TripAdvisor service.
