Zak - Physical rooms

A physical room is an accommodation that is actually available on your property.  Each room belongs to a specific room category. The price of a physical room depends on the category to which the room belongs.

A small property (like a Bed&Breakfast) might have only one physical room for each category. In any case, it is necessary to enter the category first and then the physical room.

Creating a physical room is very simple. You just have to assign:

  • name
  • code
  • category.

A physical room inherits the occupancy from the category to which it belongs, and it is not possible to modify it, since to sell rooms with different occupancy it is necessary to access the related section > Products > Products:

Remember that it is not necessary to create manually all the physical rooms of each category. In fact, when creating a new room category, you can specify the quantity of physical rooms, so that ZaK provides to create them automatically:

A confirmed reservation is visible in the Planner. A single customer can book different stays, on different physical rooms, and for different periods.

In the example above, the reservation on behalf of David Bowie involves two physical rooms ("Standard Lato Città" and "Tripla Lato Città") that belong to different categories ("Standard" and "Tripla").

A physical room can be closed for a specified period. In this case, the availability of the category is reduced of 1 unit for that period.

In the example above the room "Family Lato Città" is closed for maintenance from 30th January to 6th February.
