ZaK - Hrs Channel

Before activating the channel, we recommend you to have a look at our introductory article regarding connections, in which preliminary operations and important warnings are explained:

To know before proceeding


  • The restrictions that ZaK updates for Hrs are: closure, min stay*, ota limit, availability modifier
  • * Zak updates Min Stay only when the rate type is NOT "hrs" (the rate type is indicated inside the channel, under "INFO")
  • Min and max advance must be set on Hrs Extranet
  • If during the mapping you find the icon  next to some products, it means that you are managing that room/rate with Hrs (not xml). But it is still necessary to map it, so that reservations come in ZaK in the right room.
  • Cancellation policy: Hrs doesn't send policy details to ZaK, so it's not managed by ZaK.
  • Board: ZaK tries to detect it from the reservation XML. However, the board may be different depending on the days, so it may not be fully correct in ZaK.

1. Adding the channel


First of all you need to acquire the channel by clicking on the + button. Click on the link below and follow the instructions for next steps:

2. Enter your Hotel ID


Once added, in order to have the access and configure it, click on the channel name (HRS) on your list.

At the bottom of the page you will see the field to enter the HRS Structure ID and the currency. Once you are in, click the PROCEED button:



3. Hrs authorization


You now have to give WuBook the authorization to connect to HRS. In order to complete the operation it is essential to login to your HRS Extranet and select WuBook as the provider in the section below:

Hotel Self-Administration (HSA) > Channel Manager


! WARNING: In case your property is located in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, you have to wait HRS approval (it usually takes up to 7 working days). In case you are not located in one of these countries, activation will be immediate.


4. Rooms and Rates mapping


! Before mapping rooms and rates, if you have HRS reservations not listed in ZaK, you have to manually submit, so that your availability will be correct and you won't risk overbooking.

At this step go back to HRS channel in ZaK and refresh the page. You may have to wait few minutes. Now you can find in the "PRODUCTS" section the rooms you previously created with HRS, times various selling rates.

Initially the sale on HRS is closed for security. You now have to associate each HRS room/rate to the corresponding ZaK product/rate. Purple products are those ones not associated and therefore closed. As you gradually associate them, they will turn blue, which means their sale is managed by ZaK.

In order to associate a product, click on the white icon next to it:



At this point, choose ZaK product and rate to associate with HRS product/rate. Then, by clicking the MAP button, ZaK will start to update that room/rate, by sending your Tabla prices, restrictions and availability to the channel:




PLEASE NOTE: If you also want to sell your rooms with further occupancy (1, 3, 4 pax etc.) it is important to contact HRS and directly communicate them both occupations with which you want to sell each room and the related price variation.


Anytime, if for whatever reason is necessary, you can quickly close the sale of a product with one click. For previously associated products (blue), simply click on the white icon with the red x. This will delete the association and the HRS room/rate will become purple again. You can anytime re-associate it:



5. Connection finalization


Finally the connection between HRS and ZaK is completed and starting from now ZaK will update prices, restrictions and availability.
