Once you have configured the Broom Paper, you can also use the zView to display the report and send it to the cleaners. In the documentation below you will find instructions on how to configure it and how to create cleaners:
You can access the Report by clicking on the icon on the top right and then on "Broom":
Or you can access it directly from the zView, by clicking on the iconand then on "Broom Report":

At this point, you can choose the period for which you want to view the cleaning report and click on "LOAD":
As you can see in the image above, you can also enter filters:
- a cleaner, to display only the cleaning tasks assigned to that worker
- a room tag, to display only the cleaning of that group of rooms
- a room type, to display only the cleaning related to that room type
You can then choose whether to print the report ("PRINT") or send it by email ("SEND BY EMAIL") to the address of your choice:
In addition, clicking on "Cleaning Report Link" will open a page with a generic report, for all rooms and all workers.
If you click on "Employes Link", you will find the links for each cleaner and you can view their pending or already done cleaning.
Links for the worker
From their link, the worker can view all the cleanings they still have to do, they will be shown in orange. E.g. Anna Rossi has three rooms to clean on 29 October (201, 202 and 204):
For example, if you click on 201, you can see all the details and you can:
- mark the cleaning as done, so it will turn green instead of orange
- report a maintenance task, e.g. a broken light bulb
- report an object found in that room
As soon as the worker makes any changes in their link, these will immediately be reflected in the zView and Report, so that those working there can see them in real time.
NB: You only need to send the link once: in fact, when you update something on the zView, it will also automatically update in the link that the cleaner has and vice versa.
Finally, we remind you that from the zView and the cleaning link, it is also possible to report Maintenance to be performed and Lost and Found objects, and then display a specific report. We will talk about this in the following dedicated article:
Why is the room setup icon flashing?
It may happen that the room setup icon is flashing in the zView. This means that:
- You had confirmed a cleaning which included a specific room setup. Or that did not include it at all.
- Then you received a reservation with a room setup different from the one you had confirmed. Or inside a reservation you manually changed the room setup, setting a different one than the one already confirmed in the zView.
- ZaK detects this inconsistency and the room setup icon flashes to warn you that something has changed: now there is a different room setup compared to when you confirmed that cleaning.
At this point you have to click on that cleaning and "Edit":
and then save, this time with the new room setup that ZaK proposes automatically:
In this way ZaK will understand that you have noticed the change and re-confirmed the cleaning with the new room setup. Therefore the icon will stop flashing.
