ZaK F.A.Q. - How to use colors?

In ZaK you have more sections where to configure and assign your colors, for different uses. Let's see them below!

1. From the Planner

The Planner colors should first be configured in the following section, you also find the link to the specific documentation:

↳ Useful Link: ZaK > Settings > Configurations > Planner Colors

☞ Docs: ZaK - Planner Colors

You have two kinds of reservations colors in the Planner:

  • system colors are automatically assigned by ZaK. You can change the color if you want or disable that color, so that it is no longer used.
  • custom colors are colors that you can create as you wish and will be assigned manually to the reservations on the Planner (image below).

2. From the zView Broom Paper

Inside the zView Broom Paper configuration page, you can create several setups for your rooms (e.g. double bed, twin beds, king-size bed, etc.). You can access it from the link below:

↳ Useful link: ZaK > Reservations > zView

☞ Docs: ZaK - zView: Broom Paper Configuration

☞ Docs: ZaK - zView

You can then assign the specific setups to each room straight from the zView. In the following example, I assign the "Luxury" setup to MATR (red):

3. From the Corporates and Agencies page

By accessing the registration page of a Corporate/Agency, in the DETAILS section you can set a color for all reservations associated with that specific Corporate/Agency:

↳ Useful Link: ZaK > Customers > Corporates

↳ Useful Link: ZaK > Customers > Agencies

In this way, reservations associated with the company WUBOOK SRL will be marked with the purple color on the Planner:

Besides, next to these reservations ZaK will show a dot with the specific color, e.g. in the Latest Reservation Events:

4. From the zView

Also in the zView, as in the Planner, you can assign custom colors to your reservations. The procedure is the same, just click on the reservation and then on "Planner colors":

Besides, by clicking on the top right on and then on "Settings", you can choose whether to display system colors in addition to custom colors in the zView:
