ZaK F.A.Q. - How to manage prices at early season (Copy Rates)?

With this feature you can easily copy prices and restrictions from one rate to another, or within the same rate for different periods. You will save many hours of work and, with a few quick clicks, you can enter prices for the whole year!

To find out more about how this works, please see the documentation below. Instead, in this article we will talk about what needs you may have and how to satisfy them through this tool.

At the end of each season, you need to set prices for the next one.
Generally what you'd like to set in the price lists is:

1. the original prices set for the previous season (i.e. the prices you initially entered, before making any changes during the season)

2. the original prices set for the previous season, but with an increase/decrease
that can be fixed or percentage

3. the prices of the just ended season (i.e. the prices after changes you made during the season)

4. the prices of the just ended season, but with an increase/decrease which can be fixed or percentage

NEED 1

In this case in ZaK it's necessary to:

- create a BASIC RATE, which you will update only once and which will be a "keeper" of your original prices. This rate will not be used in the sale, but only to copy its prices for the following seasons.

- create a STANDARD RATE to be used for sales on OTAs and/or Website, in which you will copy the prices set in the Basic Rate. Then, in this Standard Rate you will be able to make changes to the prices. So at the end of the season it will include your actual final sales prices.

- at next season, to enter again your original prices (before making any changes during the season), all you have to do is copy the prices from the Basic Rate to the Standard Rate.

NEED 2

In order to meet this need, it's necessary to carry out all the steps indicated for Need 1. In addition, you can modify the prices just copied in the Standard Rate through Tabla or Sytar, applying the increase/decrease you want.

NEED 3

To meet this need, in ZaK you must:

- create a STANDARD RATE to be used for sales on OTAs and/or Website, in which you will copy the prices set in the Basic Rate. Then, in this Standard Rate you will be able to make changes to the prices. So at the end of the season it will include your actual final sales prices.

- at next season, to enter the prices of the just ended season (i.e. the prices after the changes you made, so those in your Tabla), you will only have to copy the prices inside the Standard Rate itself, from the past season to the future one.

NEED 4

In order to meet this need, it's necessary to carry out all the steps indicated for Need 3. In addition, you can modify the prices just copied in the Standard Rate through Tabla or Sytar, applying the increase/decrease you want.
