WB Knowledge Base - ZaK - Viajero Configuration (Spain)

The configuration of this functionality allows you to generate the Viajero report, necessary for Spanish Police Department. To use it, you must have subscribed to the PII Package (you will automatically get a 15-day free trial) at the following link:

After subscribing to the package, the specific plugin must be acquired in the following section:

Once added, you need to click on it and proceed to the setup by entering all requested data. These data are directly provided by Viajero, so if you have any doubts please contact them directly in order to to be sure that the data you are entering in ZaK are correct!

You have three possibilities for sending the Report:

Manual: ZaK allows you to download and save the file on your computer. You will then need to access Viajero to upload the file manually.
Semi-Automatic: ZaK allows you to check the customer data before sending, and then confirm the sending, which will be done by ZaK.
Automatic: Starting from a certain time, ZaK checks if you have had arrivals/departures and automatically generates and sends the file to Viajero with arrived/departed guests. Enabling the automatic mode, ZaK will start sending the reports from yesterday's date.

Manual sending

To enable the Manual sending you only need to enter your Portal, Property Code, Property Name and Property Type. This data is provided directly by Viajero.

For manual mode it is NOT necessary to enable the "Connection" button or to enter the password.

Semi-automatic sending

To enable the Semi-Automatic model, in addition to these data you must also enter the password issued by Viajero, so that ZaK is authorized to send the report. You must enable the "Connection" button and enter the password:

Automatic sending

For Automatic mode, you need to enter the same credentials as above for Semi-Automatic. In addition to these, below you will also need to enable the "Auto Upload" button and choose whether you wish to receive an email notification for any problem. Then save:

Multi Property Configuration

If in ZaK you manage rooms/apartments of more properties registered separately on Viajero, you need to create different reports. You have to group the physical rooms that are part of the same property through a room tag. If, for example, in your ZaK you have the rooms of two properties (Mountain Hotel and Sea Hotel) you have to create two tags ("mountain" and "sea") and assign them to the specific rooms.

In the Viajero configuration page, you can then enable the MULTI PROPERTY button and choose the two tags. You can then configure each tag by entering its credentials. In this way, both the configuration and the production of the file will be divided by property.
