ZaK - Online Reception: Rates and Special Offers

In this page, on the left side, you find all the rates already created on ZaK at Products>Rates section and you can decide which ones to enable/disable for sale on your site:

↳ Useful Link: ZaK > Sales > Online Reception > Rates

By clicking on the name of each rate, in the centre you will see the available products and the buttons to enable/disable the rate for some products.

For example, if I don't want to sell the DUS (single use) with the Standard rate, I can just click on that rate and disable that product:

NOTE: If for a room type you have multiple solutions that match the search made by the guest, the most expensive products and rates will automatically be hidden. Only the cheapest results will be shown.

How to create a Special Offer?

By clicking on the SPECIAL OFFER section, you can enable a rate as a Special Offer and choose the value of the offer:

Your rate will then be increased by this value and the original price will appear crossed out, in order to "make it look discounted" and attract more attention from the guest.

For the value you can choose among 3 options:
  • percentage
  • fixed per night (the value you choose will be added to each night)
  • fixed per reservation (the value will be added to the reservation total)

EXAMPLE:

You set your Double room, in the October Offer rate, to cost €150 per night. Then you set it as a special offer, choosing a fixed value per night of 7€.
On your site, if you search for the Double room for 2 nights, you will see it at 300€ already discounted (150€ x 2nights). Above you will see the original price crossed out, i.e. 150€ increased by 7€ per night as you set in the value, so 150€ + 7€ = 157€ x 2nights = 314€.

Steps to create an offer

So let's summarize all the steps to create a special offer:

1. First, create is as a rate at the following menu:

↳ Useful Link: ZaK > Products > Rates

2. Assign prices and restrictions to the new rate via Sytar. Or create an automatic derivation from another rate.

! ATTENTION: The prices you enter must already be those of the offer, which means already discounted.

3. Give the new rate a title and a description, explaining what it includes. Both of these will be displayed on the site during the booking process. If you wish, you can also translate them into different languages. Just go to the rate description section:

↳ Useful Link: ZaK > Sales > Contents > Descriptions

4. Enable that rate as a special offer and set the discount value, at section:

↳ Useful Link: ZaK > Sales > Online Reception > Rates

You have now correctly set up your offer! You can check your Online Reception to simulate a reservation and see how it looks.
