In this section you can generate discount codes to provide to your customers:

The creation is very simple: just choose the type of discount (percentage or fixed) and the value of the discount. You can also add a free description, which will not be visible to the guest but will only be for your internal use.
You also have to choose the level of the discount:
- only to rooms: only the room price will be discounted
- only to extras: only the price of any extras added to the shopping cart will be discounted
- to the full reservation amount: the total amount will be discounted
NOTE: in all three cases, city tax and mandatory costs (if any) are NOT discounted, as these are fixed costs.
Once created the code, you can always click the icon to edit the details.
On the top right, you can choose to show or hide the section for entering discount codes:
Each discount code by default will always be valid, you just need to share it with your guests! If instead you want to set validity periods, click the icon 
and you will find two options:

Reservation Dates: if you set a period here, the discount
will only be valid for those who book during that period, regardless of
the dates of the stay. The important thing is that the date on which the guest makes the reservation falls within that period.
- Arrival Dates: if you set a period here, the discount will only be valid for those staying in that period, regardless of the date you make the reservation. So the important thing is that the check-in date falls within that period (only the check-in date, not the departure date).
