ZaK - Online Reception: Widget and Sharing

    If you want to use your site but you want to insert our widget, in this section you can configure your own widget. You can choose between a simple button, a link or a more complete widget. Creating a widget is simple and you can see a preview at any time. The section can be reached from the following link:

    1. Widget creation


    At the top, under "PERSISTENT SETTINGS", click on the + to create a new widget. Choose the name you prefer, e.g. that of your property, then save:


    2. Basic settings set up


    At this point, under "Settings", you will find the basic parameters to configure for your widget:


    These include the "Tag Filter" field, where you can choose one of your room tags, so that only the room(s) associated with that tag are offered for sale. If you need this functionality, you must first create your tags at the following section:

    You can also find the "Multi rtags" and "Multi property" options. Let's see them together!


    Multi-Property Widget


    You can enable this option if you need to sell, from the same widget, rooms belonging to different properties (more properties inside the same WuBook account or even in other accounts). Once defined the dates, the guest will be redirected to a page where he can choose in which property to book. In the following example, he can choose between a seaside hotel and a mountain hotel:



    To configure the multi-property widget, just enable the button and specify the ID of all properties to be displayed. Example:


    You can find the ID of each of your properties at the top of the following section, in brackets:


    Text, images and services to be displayed for each property can be configured at the following section, always referring to the "Property" option:

    Multi-rtags Widget


    The same mechanism of the Multi-Property Widget described above can be used with room tags. Inside the same WuBook property, you may have created rooms belonging to different hotels. Or flats located in different areas/cities. In this case you can group them using tags, e.g. "Seaside Apartments", "Suburban Apartments" and "City Apartments". By enabling Multi rtags, the guest will be redirected to a page after selecting the dates, where he can choose which group of accommodation to book for. Example:



    To configure the Multi rtags, just enable the button and specify the tags of the accommodation groups to be shown, as in the example in the photo:



    NOTE: In order to work, the same room tags must be enabled in the following section as well:



    Text and images to be shown for each group of accommodation can be configured from the following section. The images must be inserted for the room types, while the texts must be inserted for the room tags:

    3. Configuration conclusion and Preview


    Under "Widgets", you can click on the arrow to customize further settings for your widget. Generally, we always recommend enabling the selection of dates and occupancy, so that the user can immediately choose which days and how many people they want to search for.
    While customising the fields, you can click on the SHOW PREVIEW button to preview how the widget will be displayed:


    4. Widget installation


    Once customized your widget, just copy the link below and paste it on your website, in the area where to place the widget. You can do it by yourselfo or, if you prefer, you can provide it to your WebMaster.


    Once the widget is installed, you will be officially on sale with the ZaK Booking Engine! So before installing it, we recommend that you complete the configuration of all the other sections.
