The Owners section within the Vacation Rental module provides a centralized interface for managing the individuals or legal entities that legally own the properties listed in the system. This section is designed to simplify owner tracking, facilitate tax compliance, and enable seamless association of properties with their rightful owners.

Overview
As soon as you open the page, you will see a list of all owners registered in the system (obviously, it will be empty the first time):
Each owner can be:
- A private individual
- A company/legal entity
Owners are stored in a structured database that includes their personal, tax, and legal information, which will later be used for contract generation, DAC 7 reporting, and profit distribution.
Creating an owner
The process is very simple. Click on the highlighted button and a window will appear where you can enter some information about the owner (this information can be changed at any time):
Managing existing owners
Each owner listed in the system can be modified or reviewed at any time. By selecting an owner, you can:
- Open the page from which the owner can manage the availability of their properties;
- Open the page dedicated to the owner's profile.
From the latter, you can:
- Enter or modify the customer's personal or billing data:
- Link properties to the owner:
- Modify the owner's permissions for their management page:
Integration with properties
Each owner can be associated with one or more properties. This link allows you to:
- Generate reports based on properties
- Allocate specific revenues to each owner
- Include properties in DAC 7 tax reporting
- Automate the assignment of contracts to each property
This tight integration ensures that accommodations are not managed in isolation, but are always traceable back to their legitimate legal owners.

Owner Page
In addition to all the other features shown above, Zak provides each owner with a page from which they can manage availability and view reports for their accommodations.
Permissions and roles
Access to the Owners section can be restricted based on user roles within the system. Administrators and users with appropriate privileges can add, edit, or delete owners from the system, and assign owners to accommodations.
Read-only access can be granted to users who are responsible for viewing but not editing owner data, such as accounting or legal teams.
