ZaK - Room codes for doors opening

Do you use Domotics in your property? Do you provide guests with codes to access their accommodation on their own? If yes, then this feature will be very useful to you! Zak in fact allows you to manually set a room code for all physical rooms within your reservations and send it to the guest via Email or Whatsapp. Let's see how to do this below.


Room code setting


Inside the detail of each reservation, you will find the icon :


By clicking on it, you will automatically find a list of the rooms in that reservation and their dates of stay. You will see that the room codes are not configured. Then click on "Edit Door code" to set it up:


Type in the code of each physical room included in that reservation, then save:


You can then easily send the codes to the booker by email or Whatsapp, so that he has them at his disposal when he arrives at the property. Alternatively, you can also print them out.
Zak automatically displays the email of the booker, if available, or you can edit it manually. Even the phone number for sending via Whatsapp is automatically taken from the booker:


Connection with domotics system

If you use or want to use an external Domotics system, you can connect it to Zak via the API connection. In this way, the domotics system can read the codes you set on Zak. Or, on the other hand, the system itself can send the codes for doors opening to Zak.
The commands to be used in this case are "get door codes" or "send door codes". Below is the technical documentation for the Zak API connection, with all the necessary information:
