ZaK F.A.Q. - How to record a payment?

ZaK allows you to record the payments you receive so that you can keep track of them. You can register a Payment in several ways:

  • from the reservation detail
  • while creating a document
  • from the CashFlow page

1. From the reservation detail


From the reservation page, you can record payments related to that reservation. Click on the subsection PAYMENTS and then on the + symbol:

On the same reservation, you can enter more than one payment. The total amount and the unpaid will be shown in the summary on the top:



In the example, on a reservation of 102€, we registered a cash advance of 50€. So 52€ are still unpaid.


2. While creating a document


If you are issuing a document (for example, an invoice) you can record here the related payment(s), so that payment will be associated with that document:




3. Independently from reservations and documents: CashFlow


Through the CashFlow section, you can record payments unrelated to reservations or documents:

If you have set the use of different currencies, you can indicate the payment's currency at the time of registration.
