Zak provides you with 4 tracking methods - Google Analytics, Gtag, Tag Manager and Facebook Pixel - to monitor visits to your Online Reception and understand how efficient it is.
These tools mainly use cookies as a tracking system to monitor what you do, which route you take, which steps you reach. It is therefore important that the user accepts cookies when browsing in order to collect data such as:
- the pages visited
- the browser used and the language
- where the user came from
- the user's IP address
- the user's country
- the date and time of the visits, etc.
First of all, it is necessary to have a Google/Facebook account, and then enter the data in ZaK in the following section:
↳ Useful Link: ZaK > Sales > Online Reception > Web Analytics
We'd like to remind you that the analysis of the data will then be carried out in your Google/Facebook account and NOT in ZaK.
We
also remind you that for Analytics and Gtag it is necessary to make an
intervention in your site, modifying the tracking code of your site to enable tracking on third party sites, in particular on the domain wubook.net. Let's see how to do it below!
1. GOOGLE ANALYTICS
You can easily configure it by entering your Google Analytics ID and your main domain (of your site). For the intervention on your site, you can follow the instructions on the ZaK page. If you were already using the previous version (GA3), you will probably have to enter a new Google ID.
NOTE: Only for Google Analytics and Google Gtag, ZaK also communicates to Google the reservation amounts on the Goal page (once the reservation has been made).
2. GOOGLE GTAG
Also Gtag is very easy to configure: you just need to enter your Measurement ID. Again for the intervention on your site, you can follow the instructions on the page:
3. GOOGLE TAG MANAGER
The third tracking method allows you to take advantage of the Google Tag Manager tracking suite. To set it up, just enter your Google Tag anager ID and save:
! ATTENTION: For all three tools, after entering and saving the ID we recommend that you open your site and try to navigate. Then log in to your Google account and make sure that the movement is present. This way you can be sure that you have set up the tracking method correctly!
4. FACEBOOK PIXEL
This tool allows you to take advantage of the Facebook Pixel suite and to track visits to your Online Reception via Facebook. To configure it, just enter your Facebook Pixel ID.
NOTE : When a reservation is made, the Online Reception will notify Facebook about the conversion amount.
What should I do if I don't see any data in my Google account?
In this case, the main causes to be checked could be the following:
- the Google ID you entered in ZaK is incorrect
- the user has not accepted the cookies
- you have an AD blocker or Antivirus causing the problem
What should I do if I have two work sessions instead of one?
If two different sessions opens up when passing through the widget, then you need to insert a piece of code into the page that allows you to transform the url and have a single session. This change must be made by your WebMaster. If you need to provide the WebMaster with the piece of code, you can contact our support team using one of the available methods.
