Entering a Reservation

In all main sections (Home, Reservations, Customers), via the button available in the lower right corner, a new reservation can be entered, with a simplified process similar to that of the Online Reception:



The first step is to select reservation dates via calendar, the board, and occupancy:



After that, various solutions are shown, based on the availability of the various room categories and super products configured in ZaK.

Moreover, you can filter the solutions shown by room category and rate:



Once you have chosen the solution that best suits the guest's request, simply tap on it to select it.

From here you will be able to start filling in the guest's personal information, and then set the reservation status:




By clicking "Confirm," the reservation will be created.

Reservation Detail

Once a reservation has been created, or by accessing any other available in the system, the Reservation Detail will open.

Inside you can perform several operations:

  • Option to check-in/check-out both at room level and by individual guest;
  • Options to add and edit both rooms and prices;
  • Payments can be managed;
  • Add and edit Meals, Extras, and Notes;
  • Access to the Guest Hub, which allows you to register and manage guests.

A little more information about the Guest Hub

By accessing the Guest Hub of a reservation, and selecting any guest, it is possible to change their personal data.

However, it is also possible to automatically fill in the guest's data, by scanning the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone) code.


This type of code can be found on any passport and many modern identity documents, and is an international code.
