Kylix - What to do if I can't print?

To print orders with Kylix, you must first configure your thermal printer by following this documentation:

When printing from Kylix, you may experience the following error:


In this case, please check all the following aspects:

  1. Make sure the PC is always turned on while you print, with QzTray running (there must be the QzTray icon on the top right).
  2. Make sure the printer is connected to the same Internet Network as the PC where you have QzTray. If you print from mobile, also the mobile device must be connected to the same Internet Network as the PC and printer.
  3. Make sure that you have entered the correct IP address of your computer in ZaK.
  4. Make sure that you do not have a firewall on your computer blocking the connection.
  5. Click on the blue number displayed in the error:
      

The screen that will now open will tell you the kind of problem:

  • If you read that the site can't be reached, then you are not complying with points 1, 2, 3 or 4 mentioned above.

  • If you read instead that there is a security problem, then click on "Advanced" and give permission to proceed. Once done, you will be able to print from Kylix.
